• A skilled practitioner; an expert.
• Conforming to the standards of a profession: Professional Behaviour.
Grooming is an art! There is no correct or wrong method in beautifying a dog as long as we have the basic fundamental of grooming and knows the overall well being of the dog.
Professional Groomer should continue to enrich themselves, continue to strives to be better, opened ourselves to new ideas, talk with other groomers and stayed out of gossip and politics which will reflect our professionalism.
This may sound naive, however ideally professional groomers should work together, respect each other uniqueness, strength and weakness and not have a go against each other for the betterment of the industry. We wonder when?
What do you do after being a professional groomer? What should you do while you are still a student?
Under normal circumstances, groomers come into this industry for the joy of working with pets, stay in love with that idea.
We are living proof that if you hear about "groomer stress" or 'groomer burnout" which it is real.
Afterall we are all human, not robots.
